There have been some HUGE developments in World Radio League over the last 2-3 weeks, and I think you deserve to know more.
But first, a little history
The journey with World Radio League started with Ham Radio Prep. Led by myself and professor Jim N4BFR, we built a step-by-step study system that helped get tens of thousands of new hams licensed.
We quickly realized that ham radio needed much more than just licensing education. For ham radio to flourish, we needed to get hams active and on the air.
So we asked the question – “How can we build a ham radio logging software that will get hams excited to operate for the next decade?”
So, in the summer of 2023, we started building the World Radio League, with the goal to build an incredible interactive logging experience that would re-invigorate the global amateur radio community for decades to come.

Latest Updates!
Max, N4ML debuted an entire new suite of features at Dayton Hamvention, and the outpouring of support over the last few weeks have been outstanding.
Some of the biggest new features include POTA Logging Support, Call Sign lookup speed and performance enhancements, and a new and improved logbook template design.
Since then, we have been featured on the Coffee and Ham Radios podcast and in a featured video by Hayden with Ham Radio DX.
The interest and support from all of you has really given us a lot of hope that there are lots of hams across the world who are open to trying a new, innovative system.

What to Expect Coming Soon
As we have seen an influx of users over the past two weeks, and with that, we have discovered a number of bugs (most of them minor).
We will fix any and all bugs, immediately! This is our top focus for the next week before we start delivering on the next roadmap. We have especially noticed a few with the Import functionality.
If you see any bugs at all while in the platform, please use the “Report a Bug” feature inside of the World Radio League app, because this kicks off some automations that help us replicate, diagnose, and solve them faster.
We’re laser focused on fixing any experience issues, and we want to hear from you! Use the “Report a Bug” button or message our team in the community chat.

Roadmap
As soon as the major bugs are fixed, we are going to move right back to delivering new features. A few of the major upcoming features we have are:
- Our very own Call Sign database, to improve callsign search speed and accuracy
- An offline capable mobile app for POTA and general logging (this goes into beta this week)
- QSO & Logbook Management tools (including ability to merge logbooks and bulk edit QSOs)
- CAT Control (starting with a bare-bones version that reads frequency/mode from the radio)
- Robust Awards and Analytics Suite
- API Connectors and Integrations with Your Favorite Tools and platforms (WSJT-X, QRZ.com, N1MM, and more)
- Offline Desktop Downloadable Version of the App (All platforms)
We are designing and prioritizing the features according to difficulty, number of users requests, and
This is just a small snapshot of the innovative features we have planned for 2024.
How You Can Help
- Use the Report a Bug feature if you see any bugs: Our platform is still less than 1 year old, so it is completely normal that there are a few kinks. If you can report them by using the “Report a Bug” button in the platform, it kicks off automations so we diagnose, replicate, prioritize and fix them appropriately. You can also reach us at [email protected] or in the community chat.
- Send Your Feature Requests and Questions: In the community, we have a category for feature requests and feedback. We want to hear from you and you can be an active part of building this new experience! Myself and the rest of the WRL team are very active and responsive here.
- Consider Becoming A Member: If you have not signed up for a premium membership, it is not required – we are just happy to have you using the platform and giving us feedback. Log in and visit the Membership page if you want to become a Founding Member.
One Last Special Thanks to All of Our Founding Members
Thank you for your support! 🙏 None of this would be possible without you. We’re so incredibly thankful and we’re going to keep working around the clock on the bug fixes and new features!
73,
James KN4NEH and the WRL Team (Max, N4ML; Alfredo, WP3C)
