• Logbook Name: Update the name of the logbook to better reflect its purpose or contents.
• Description: Add a description that provides more information about the logbook.
• Logbook Style: Select from the available template options, such as the default WRL style.

• Location and Equipment Settings: You can select any of your saved locations or add a custom location. However, if a location is specified, any future contacts logged in the logbook will automatically use that location. This setting can be changed at any time. Operators can also set default values for their radio, antenna, or power settings, which will apply to future contacts logged in the system. It’s important to note that these settings will only affect future contacts and will not be applied retroactively to contacts that are already in the logbook.
• Adding a Club or Special Event Call Sign: If the operator is logging contacts from a club station or using a special event call sign, they can change the call sign associated with that specific logbook to match the club’s call sign. Any future contacts logged in this logbook will reflect the club call sign, and when exported, the resulting ADIF file will display that call sign as well. For contests, operators might want to adjust additional details such as:
  • Power settings
  • Assisted vs. Non-Assisted Category
  • Number of Transmitters
    If the operator is using a club call but wants to ensure contacts they made personally are tagged, they can enter their own call sign in the Operator field.

Step 3: Save and Apply Changes

Once all the necessary edits have been made, operators can click the Save Settings button to apply the changes. A confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen stating, “Updated successfully.”

When the logbook is revisited, all changes will be visible.
