Getting Started with POTA in WRL #
You can use World Radio League for POTA from:

The desktop web app at app.worldradioleague.com

The mobile app (iOS & Android), which supports offline logging and syncs automatically when you reconnect
*Your logbooks sync across devices — log in the field, manage from your computer later.
Starting a POTA Activation #
There are two ways to start:
Option 1: Quick Start Button #

From the homepage, click “Start a POTA Activation”

Search by:

Park number (e.g., US-0662)

Park name
-
Or use “Find My Park” for GPS-based suggestions

(Optional) Set a starting frequency and enable POTA auto-spot

Click “Create Logbook”
Option 2: Use the Activities Map #

Open the Activities Map from the app or web

View nearby parks, summits, and WWFF sites

Click a park > View Details > Create Logbook
That’s it — you’re now ready to start logging as an activator.

Logging POTA Contacts #
Once you’re in the logbook, logging is fast and feature-rich:

Enter the call sign (e.g., N4BFR)

Enter frequency (CAT Control supported on desktop)

Each contact is mapped visually and added to your session log.
Park-to-Park Logging #
If the station you’re contacting is in a park:

WRL auto-fills their park number for you

If they’re in multiple parks, add multiple IDs in the P2P field
