Exporting your logged QSOs in ADIF (Amateur Data Interchange Format) is essential when you need to submit logs to other systems like POTA, SOTA, LoTW, QRZ, or simply want a personal backup. World Radio League makes it easy to export ADIFs from full logbooks or filtered sets of QSOs.
This guide outlines all the available methods for exporting ADIF files from your WRL account.
Method 1: Export an Entire Logbook #
-
Go to the Logbooks page
Navigate to your list of logbooks from the main logging interface. -
Select the logbook you want to export.
-
Open the Settings Menu (gear icon) inside that logbook.
-
Click “Export ADIF”.
If your logbook is for a specific activity (e.g., POTA, WWFF, SOTA, or IOTA), additional export options will appear — including activity-specific formats optimized for those platforms.
Method 2: Quick Export from Logbook List #
For faster access:
-
Hover over the Action Menu (three-dot icon) on the right side of the logbook row.
-
Click “Export ADIF” or “Export Activity-Specific ADIF”, depending on your needs.
This method lets you export without opening the full logbook.
Method 3: Export Selected QSOs via QSO Manager #
Want to export only specific contacts?
-
Go to QSO Manager from the main menu.
-
Apply filters by band, mode, country, or any other criteria to narrow down the list.
-
Select the QSOs you want to export.
-
Click “Export QSO”.
This is ideal for submitting a subset of contacts — for instance, just your 20m QSOs from a single activation.
Export Processing Time #
If your export contains a large number of contacts, it may take a few moments to generate.
-
Once the export is ready, you’ll receive a notification with a download link.
-
Download your
.adi
file directly from that notification.
